An Eco Friendly Bird Box with Camera

All our boxes are made from either reclaimed/ recycled and FSC ( Forest Stewardship Council) timber. Our packaging is re-used and recycled -whether it be re used bubble wrap or shredded newspaper - we always recycle packaging. We source our boxes from local shops and businesses and even used boxes from House removal firms. We believe in saving the environment where ever we can. All our electrical components - webcams, cameras and leads are sourced mainly in the UK to try to help cut down the carbon footprint. We even modify some of our cameras in our own workshop rather than import ready made items.

On our website we use the term Bird box with camera and nest box with camera to mean the same thing. This is for the purpose of web searches.

We build our all our bird box ranges from either recycled timber if we can get hold of it or FSC timber. FSC ( Forest Stewardship Council ) timber comes from managed forests and trees that are harvested are replaced or allowed to regenerate naturally. Our range of bird boxes with colour / infrared cameras and webcams to allow it to work in complete darkness. All our boxes are built to the same high standard as all our boxes, internal roughening for the chicks to help them climb out when they fledge, drainage holes, mitred roof join and felt covering.
Our bird boxes with cameras also have a high impact resistant plastic window in the top to allow natural light in to aid the camera in giving full colour images in daylight. The plastic window is frosted to prevent anything disturbing the birds.

Also our bird box with camera are deeper to allow for the camera under the roof. This also allows for the correct focusing of camera and enables you to see the whole of the nest box floor.

There is also an online set up video to make it really easy too!

After nesting, the camera in the box can be removed after nesting and used as a feeder cam providing it is kept dry.
